
As Geocycle’s Regional Business Manager for the Mountain Region, Nicole Prokop leads the activities of the organization in this region. In addition to her role in new business development, she represents the company in communicating the value of co-processing wastes to the community, regional and national waste markets and regional regulatory agencies.
Her background in alternative fuels and raw materials includes serving as Environmental Manager for the Holcim (US) Trident Plant in Three Forks, Montana. In 2003, she became the AFR Manager for the Mountain Region; coordinating AFR initiatives for the Trident, Montana, Devil's Slide, Utah, and Portland (Florence), Colorado, plants.
Prokop holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where she also served as president of the Society of Women Engineers from 1995 to 1997. She has also served in leadership roles in the Western Environmental Trade Association, Recycle Montana, the Western Educational Foundation for Resources, the Recycling Coalition of Utah and the United Way of Gallatin County.
