Les Prall joined the Department of Community and Economic Development with the State of Utah in 1988. He received a BA in Economics at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Les has been employed by state and regional governments over the past 25 years, and has specialized in industrial recruiting, business assistance, and rural economic/community development. He is involved in business environmental issues and works closely with the Department of Environmental Quality. He is presently working as Marketing Director for the Utah Smart Site Initiative and oversees the Recycling Market Development Zone Program. His private sector employment includes four years of real estate sales and development and publisher of a real estate magazine. Les currently serves on the board of directors for the Recycling Coalition of Utah.
