Assistant to the Vice Presidents & Sustainability Coordinator — Harmons Grocery
Sherry Glick has work for Harmons since 1990. She has held many different positions in her career, 17 years working as a Human Resource Manager where she worked closely with the Store Director and Associates. She has helped with opening many new Harmons locations in hiring and also assisted in training hundreds of new associates within a matter of weeks. In 2009, Harmons launched a Green Waste Diversion Program in which she held a position on the Harmons Green Team at store level. On August 26, 2013, Sherry was promoted to Assistant to the Vice Presidents and Sustainability Coordinator. In her current role she assists in community events to raise money for the Special Olympics of Utah, MS Society, the Utah Food Bank and many other charities. She assists the VP of Store Development with the huge undertaking of building and remodeling Harmon stores. In overseeing the Green and Sustainability program, she is responsible for educating associates about the program and plans yearly Earth Day events. She also manages the Grocery Rescue program to donate food to the Utah Food Bank which is distributed in local pantries.
Sherry has been married for 23 years and has 3 sons. She coaches soccer for the high school age group for West Jordan Youth Soccer. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
